Shamitabh is about what two people with differing intellect together can do! Two people with complementing talent, supporting each other, achieve desired goal, reach pinnacle!
What happens if these complementing talent think about self? What happens if one thinks itself more important than the other! What happens when one thinks one is deciding the outcome whereas relevance of other is just mere a formality!
The movie is about ego issues between relationships. Often ego problem is there between relation, may it be between friends, between husband-wife, between father-son or any two dependent personalities. Once this ego happens, everything between relation vanishes.
It's worth remembering that the existence of human kind is in togetherness, understanding, forgiveness, love, empathy, co-existence and dependence. These aspects make the society complete !
